I’m Sarah! It’s so nice to meet you!
You’ll probably hear some stories on the blog about lessons I’ve learned personally, but also in my relationship with my college-sweetheart husband, Ben, and
his mini-me my 5-year-old, Jude. But this photo doesn’t contain all of our family. You’ll hear about our daughter and how God is using our stories of love and loss to teach us to trust Him more.
Sincerely Anchored is a Faith & Family Lifestyle Blog focused on encouraging women to live authentically with hope.
I write about finding hope even in tough times.
- Miscarriages? Check.
- Infant death? Check.
- Rocky patch in marriage? Check.
- 13 moves in 17 years? Check.
- Deployments? Check.
- Autoimmune disease? Check.
- Tumor scares? Check.
- Terrible two-year-old tantrums? Threenager? Fournado? Check. Check. And Check.
- Friendships broken in my toughest times? Check.
- Death of my Dad? Check.
- Struggles with PCOS and weight loss? Check.
I’ve been through each of those and the one thing that has always been true is:
There’s always hope.
And whatever you’re going through, that is my message to you too:
There’s always hope.
So who am I?
I’m a 30-something jack-of-all-trades kind of girl originally from upstate NY. A writer, musician, speaker, and women’s ministry leader.
My mission is to encourage women to live authentically with hope.
My husband and I are celebrating 15 years of marriage (together for 18), and after the heartache of miscarriages and the loss of our infant daughter, we treasure each day with our rainbow boy, Jude, who I reference throughout this blog.
And of course, life isn’t complete without our Boston Terrier – who I may or may not view as my closest friend. Just sayin’.
We have been a Navy family now for 9 years, but the anchor reference in my blog name isn’t just because of that. It also comes from my life verse in the Bible.
